Aer Lingus will launch a new transatlantic route between Dublin and Cleveland, Ohio, on May 19, 2023, for the summer season, the carrier announced Wednesday.

The route will operate four times weekly using Airbus A321neo LR aircraft with both business and economy cabins and be the only direct European service from Cleveland, according to the carrier, which also will offer connections from Dublin to more than 20 European cities.

For summer 2023, Aer Lingus will operate 15 transatlantic routes between Ireland and North America, as well as three long-haul services from Manchester, U.K, according to the carrier. The airline’s Dublin hub also includes a U.S. Customs Preclearance facility where passengers can clear immigration and customs before boarding their flights instead of doing so upon arrival in the United States.
